There were few surprises in the Wichita area's September housing numbers, as sales continued to fall but the market remained steady.
Sales fell 15.6 percent year over year in September, according to Wichita Area Multiple Listing Service numbers compiled by the Wichita Area Association of Realtors, from 957 in September 2007 to 808 last month.
